Acute interstitial nephritis
etiology
- Allergic: β-lactams, sulfa drugs, NSAIDs, PPIs
- Infection: pyelo, viral, legionella, TB, leptospirosis
- Infiltrative: sarcoid, lymphoma, leukemia
- Autoimmune: Sjögren’s, TINU, IgG4, SLE, ICIs
treatment

- Commonly drug-induced Acute interstitial nephritis
- If suspected, prompt removal of offending drug; ? early steroids w/in 7d of dx
- Rechallenging after suspected ICI-induced AIN may depend on oncology natural history
