• RF: Tobacco, EtOH, HPV, betel nut chewing
• Genetic syns: Overall rare; Fanconi most common. Others: Bloom, Li–Fraumeni, xeroderma pigmentosa
• Risk of 2nd 1° CA: 3–7% /y for lung & aerodigestive tracts due to “field cancerization” by tobacco/EtOH (not HPV). Solitary lung mass → r/o 2nd 1°
