Radiation therapy indications for mastectomy patients

INDICATIONS FOR POST-MASTECTOMY RADIATIO THERAPY

• N2 or more
• Primary tumor > 5 cm
• Margin positive or close
• N1 with ONE of following risk factors: T2, ER (-), age ≦ 40, and prominent LVI
• T2N0 with TWO of following risk factors: ER (-), age≦40, and prominent LVI (optional)
• Gross multifocal disease with ONE of following risk factors: T2, ER (-), age ≦40, and prominent LVI
