Autoimmune hepatitis

♀, ↑ IgG, ⊕ ANA, ASMA, anti-LKM-1, anti-LC1

This disease is → more common in women and is → characterized by

• elevated levels of IgG (a type of antibody),
• and positive tests for antinuclear antibody (ANA),
• anti-smooth muscle antibody (ASMA),
• anti-liver-kidney microsomal antibody type 1 (anti-LKM-1),
• and anti-liver cytosol type 1 antibody (anti-LC1).

These antibodies are markers of autoimmune hepatitis and help in diagnosis and management of the disease.
