Treatment of COVID-19

• Non-hospitalized:
  • mAb, paxlovid and molnupiravir if risk factors for severe disease
• Hospitalized w/ suppl O2:
  • dexamethasone ± remdesivir (inhibits vRNA polymerase)
• Hospitalized w/ mechanical ventilation or ECMO:
  • dexamethasone +
  • anti IL6 (tocilizumab/ sarilumab) or
  • anti JAK (baricitinib/
    • tofacitinib) if rapidly ↑ O2 requirement but not intubated
• Anticoag. due to high rate of thrombosis; Ppx vs. Rx dosing based on severity and risk
