induction chemotherapy of treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)
Ph ⊕ t(9;22)
- (seen in ~25% of B-ALL)
- tyrosine kinase inhibitor + chemo/steroids
Ph ⊖:
- Adolescents & young adults (<40 y): pedi-like regimen typically w/ PEG-asparaginase
- Adults (40–60 y): multiagent chemo incl. anthracycline, vincristine, steroids, cyclophosphamide (CYC). Older (>60 y): reduced-intensity chemo.
