Precipitants:

• ASA/NSAID,
• EtOH,
• cocaine,
• gut ischemia,
• XRT

Stress-related mucosal injury in ICU Pts.

• Risk factors include severe coagulopathy,

• mech vent >48 h,

• high-dose glucocorticoids

• Treatment: high-dose PPI
