CNS metastatic disease

• ↑ incidence than 1° CNS. Most common: lung, breast, melanoma, RCC, gastro-esoph. • Surgery if oligomet disease or symptomatic & resectable, steroids if neuro sx • Radiation particularly if multiple mets or inoperable. Consider WBRT if many mets. • Some systemic therapies (checkpoint inhibitors, targeted Rx in NSCLC) have CNS activity
