• No high-risk cytogenetic features
• Normal serum lactate dehydrogenase level

Stage III

Both of the following:

• Serum beta 2 (β2)- microglobulin >5.5 mg/L
• AND one of the following
  • High-risk cytogenetics: t(4;14), t(14;16), del(17p)
  • Elevated serum lactate dehydrogenase level
