- (LBL, more common in T-cell)
- w/ mass lesion w/ <20% BM blast

Morphology:
- no granules (granules seen in myeloid lineage)

Cytochemistry:
- ⊕ terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT)
- in 95% of ALL, MPO negative
- ⊕ terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase (TdT)
Immunophenotype
- Precursor: CD34, TdT
- B: CD19; variable CD10, CD22, CD79a
- T: CD1a, CD2, cytoplasmic CD3, CD5, CD7
