• p16:

• EGFR:
  • Overexpressed in >80% SCCHN;
  • ↑ correlates w/ poorer prog (Mol Can Ther 2019;18:1909)
• TP53:
  • Inactivated in >50% SCCHN,
  • more common in tobacco/EtOH-associated tumors
• CCND1 (cyclin D1):
  • ↑ cell-cycle progression
