• VELOUR

• Ziv-Aflibercept (Zaltrap)

• Dosing: 4 mg/kg IV every 2 wks. No renal or hepatic dose adjustments recommended

• PK/PD: T1/2 ∼6 d

• AEs:

  • GI perforation (BBW),
  • hemorrhage (BBW),
  • impaired wound healing (BBW),
  • proteinuria,
  • HTN,
  • thromboembolism,
  • ↑ LFTs

• DDI: Contraindicated w/ clozapine (↑ risk of agranulocytosis)

• Clinical pearls: Monitor CBC, urine protein, BP, & signs of bleeding. Hold Rx at ↣ least 4 wks prior & 4 wks after major elective surgery
