Treatment of Hypovolemic hyponatremia
volume repletion with isotonic 0.9% saline at a slow rate. Once volume replete → stimulus for ADH removed (w/ very short ADH t½) → kidneys excrete free H2O → serum Na will correct rapidly (D5W ± dDAVP if overcorrection)
