Clinical Presentation of marginal zone lymphoma

MZL can affect diverse anatomical sites & presentation varies accordingly

Localized sx:

  1. Epigastric pain (gastric),
  2. abdominal pain or bowel obstruction (intestine),
  3. cough (bronchial),
  4. orbital mass,
  5. salivary gland mass,
  6. thyroid mass, breast mass,
  7. skin nodules or rash,
  8. abdominal distension or early satiety due to splenomegaly (splenic MZL),
  9. LAN (nodal MZL)

Systemic sx:

  1. B sx (wt loss >10%, fevers, sweats) uncommon
  2. fatigue
  3. bruising
