Lefamulin of Important Antibacterial Drug Interactions
- QTc-prolonging drugs (e.g., azoles, sotalol, amiodarone, dofetilide, fluoxetine)
- Increased risk of cardiotoxicity and arrhythmias. Monitor QTc.
- Strong CYP3A4 inducers (e.g., rifampin)
- Reduced lefamulin efficacy
- Strong CYP3A4 strong inhibitors (e.g., ritonavir)
- Increased lefamulin exposure
